The Grammy award-winning composer, performer, and YouTube star Jacob Collier will be the keynote lecturer for Symposium II. Jacob rose to fame in 2012 as his incredible compositions and musical performances went viral on YouTube. In 2016 he released his self-recorded album In My Room which won two Grammys for the tracks Flintstones and You and I.

Since then, Jacob has been working on his massive, four-volume work Djesse. The album, which features the Metropole Orkest and more than two dozen artists or ensembles, has already won immense praise, including two Grammy awards. The latest volume, Djesse Vol. 3 was released just last August to much excitement. We’re so excited to have Jacob joining us along with dozens of other incredible educators and creators at Symposium II!
